Lawn Care Chemicals Used With Success In Indiana
There are lots of lawn care chemicals on the market, both powders and liquids. These are a few of our favorites in different categories. The Lawn Care Industry avoids the use of the word “chemicals” but that is what they are. They are not harmless if used carelessly but, then again, many things in nature harbor harmful chemicals and can certainly harm humans and animals.
FALL
In Indiana Fall is the best time of year to overseed grass seed, although late Winter / early Spring can be done instead. Go one year for overseeding grass seed and two years for Fall powder lawn chemical treatment in a rotation. In the year of overseeding grass seed do not use any Fall powder lawn chemical treatment. LATE SPRING / EARLY SUMMER
In Indiana, Summer Lawn Care liquid chemicals should be used and give the Powders a rest until Fall. The BioAdvanced All-In-One Lawn Weed & Crabgrass Killer is solidly in post-emergent territory. You want to directly spray the weeds. It will not hurt the grass.
